Inspired by the red bandanna I found in my house and have been wearing off and on *dork*. "Bandito" means bandit in Italian, I think. If any Italian-speakers wanna correct me, please feel free. Also, this character is Kahvie. Bandito is just the name of the pictureXD.
I actually finished this on September 16th (not counting the few days it took to clean it up on the computer), but I've got so much crap going on at my place that I'm just now finding the time to upload it. Bah.
An inked image from my sketchbook. This actually went through a lot of changes before I came up with the final. At first, she was just going to be shown from the waist up without a shirt and just the bandanna, but then I decided to give her a shirt and add her bottom half with pants. Then I decided I hated the way she looked with pants and thought it would look better if I just showed her with fluffy anthro mutt legs, and the final was born.
Stupid me though, I left the image out on my bed and my cat turned around from where she was laying on my bed and started licking the red Prismacolor marker area while I was working on the computer just a few feet away, so the original now has two creases in it from where it was wet from cat spit. Gotta remember not to leave finished marker images where she can get to them now><.
Micron ink pens, Prismacolor markers (black and crimson red).

Bandito by ~Kahvie is simple, yet stylish. It's the right combination of black and white, just like early cartoon characters. (Suggested by ~vincentwolf and Featured by `cooley)
I know I will sound lame... but this is just awesome. You're on Spocha's level of ink-like pictures. I like the details, like the bandana's lineartless-ness (does this word even exsist?) and the spikey fur.
The pose is excelent.
The idea if clothing is a bit cartoony but I like it.
Despite the fur's way, it has a smooth feeling to it.
How long did it take to draw (the original sketch I mean)?

I know I've said it before, and I'll say it again- I totally envy your marker skills and, while I'm on the subject of envy, I envy your anatomy skills too- you are amazing beyond words, Kavs
